TRAILIS AKD is our latest solution for grain transport, specifically developed for the Romanian market.
This vehicle brings together the experience we've gained over 18 years of activity and is designed with the specific needs and requirements of Romanian transport operators in mind. The model is available in 5 chassis length options and 6 superstructure height configurations, offering usable volumes ranging from 37.1 m³ to 63.7 m³. As a result, TRAILIS AKD stands out through its high degree of configurability and flexibility.


![]() | ChassisMade from high-strength S700 steel, the "gooseneck" chassis is designed to lower the center of gravity, thereby ensuring increased stability. Its extended width, combined with the rear reinforcement plate, provides superior stability both during driving and tipping operations. |
![]() | Running GearStandard equipment includes SAF Intradisc CD axles with a widened wheeltrack (2,090 mm), contributing to improved vehicle stability. Fitted with heavy-duty Knorr brake calipers, these axles have proven their durability and reliability under demanding operating conditions. |
![]() | BodyThe body is manufactured from aluminum using continuously welded sheets and profiles for enhanced durability. It is reinforced at the rear with wear plates on the side walls and at the front with steel corner reinforcements. The floor is made from a single aluminum plate with high abrasion resistance. The design also allows for the efficient transport of europallets. |
![]() | TarpaulinThe Mehler Polymar tarpaulin has a base density of 680 g/m² and is reinforced in contact areas with 900 g/m² material. It can be rolled to the side and is supported by detachable internal crossbars, front/rear support structures, and reinforced lateral tensioning straps. |
![]() | Electrical SystemThe 24V electrical installation complies with ADR standards and includes 2x7-pin and 1x15-pin front coupling sockets. The full LED lighting system includes position lights, rear multi-chamber light units, and two additional reversing lamps. |
![]() | Rear ProtectionThe rear underrun protection is made of steel in a lightweight design and folds with the help of helical springs. Optionally, it can be equipped with a pneumatically operated version that functions either manually or automatically during tipping. |
![]() | Tipping SystemThe trailer is fitted with tipping cylinders operating at a maximum pressure of 250 bar and hydraulic connection hoses. It also features body guiding elements and a Hyfix system for safe and efficient operation. |
